We find out later today about the CT scan and what might have transpired with the tumor.

Thankful for the energy I have had lately to get a LOT of things done. Things that needed doing but had been put off due to my taking care of my son. These last 2 days are the bad ones and he hardly moves at all, so not as much I need to do but go check on him, fill up his drink, ask him if he wants to eat, encourage him to drink an Ensure or two, etc. We have no appointments till next week. Hoping I can spend some time entering!

… and Update. We had a scan on Monday to check the tumor and other issues, but won’t know the results till next week when we have our oncologist visit. Right now we are hopeful. As you might know he skipped a chemo week because he was drained from Chemo #5. Chemo #6 then happened this week and it was at an 80% level. Today (4/17) on the way home from having the chemo machine removed, he really surprised me and asked to go to Walmart. Today he walked the Walmart and picked out food he wanted to eat and could make easily for himself in microwave or oven — if he has the strength to do so. That one week off chemo did help his body recover a lot. Thanks Prayer Warriors! Keep praying!

Truth is, I cannot remember putting together this post, but it was saved, so I added one to it and am posting it now. My son is on a break from chemo for an extra week because the last one had an elongated recovery period. He was not eating or drinking, he fell (and had head CT because he hit his head) and other issues. So instead we are doing 2 days of hydration several days apart and 3 weeks between this time. After is next Chemo (next week) they are working on scheduling that scan to see the effect the chemo treatments have had on the tumor. Please pray for a good result. And… as always thanks for all your prayers.
