Update: My son has been working every weekday and 1/2 days on his chemo treatment days. He is trying way too hard to get off the extended release morphine and he is down from 360mg a day to just 15! He is also trying to get off all the other meds because he just thinks he’s well enough and pain is not that bad that he still needs them. He is still taking some anxiety meds but is doing well. He got back into working with only some real deep tiredness. They updated him on the new systems and he basically is doing wonderfully with work. I am sure they are glad to have him back. Oncologist office is making appointment for our second surgical opinion and for the next CT scan in July. Oncologist believes that this is the time while stable and doing well that we need to find out if we can reverse the ostomy and/or deal with “whatever” little bit (which they cannot fully identify) they are seeing on the CT scan. I do feel like this is a miracle. Thank you for your prayers and support.
