Autofill isn’t typing anything / nothing happens after clicking Type into form
- Make sure the countdown finishes and the target form field is focused (click into the first field on the webpage before the countdown ends).
- On Windows only: Type into form injects keystrokes. On macOS/Linux/Android use ◇ Copy resolved and paste manually instead.
- Check that a Browser path is set correctly in Options if the site opens in an unexpected browser.
- Press Esc to cancel any stuck/in-progress autofill, then try again.
It types too fast or skips fields / form doesn’t accept the input
- Go to Options and enable Slow down the Type function (for picky forms).
- Increase the Type arm delay so you have more time to focus the first field.
- Verify the TypeItIn string contains the correct `{tab}` and `{enter}` markers where the form expects them.
Wrong information is being filled (or tokens aren’t replaced)
- Confirm the correct profile is selected in the Autofill as dropdown. The TypeItIn box rebuilds automatically when you switch profiles.
- If you previously edited the TypeItIn box, it is pinned as a custom string and no longer follows the profile. Click 🔄 Use profile fields to restore profile-based tokens.
- Tokens must be written exactly as `{name}`, `{email}`, etc. (matching the field names in the selected profile).
Tabs or Enter presses aren’t working
- Explicitly insert `{tab}` and `{enter}` in the TypeItIn string wherever the web form needs them.
- Example for name + email + submit: `{name}{tab}{email}{enter}`
Custom string vs profile confusion
- Editing the TypeItIn box pins that exact string to the entry and stops profile updates.
- To return to automatic profile following, click the 🔄 Use profile fields button.
- New entries use the Default Type template from Options (or follow the selected profile if that template is left empty).
