Update for those concerned: Right now my son is on a 4 chemo schedule (one every 2 weeks) after which we will have another scan to see what might be happening to the mass (shrink more, stable, etc) and determine the next phase. The goal is more time between treatments but the stability of the mass is the most important factor right now.
