Posted this and forgot update! Saw second opinion surgeon. The issue with the remaining mass is it’s location. They cannot take it out without potentially having to take part or all of his bladder. Right now, even without the surgery we were told they would never be able to remove the ostomy bag. Again, not because of size, or cancer, but the location of the mass is the issue. Surgeon did say he also was not certain that this was cancer after all. He would do the surgery if my son was OK having 2 bags, but he isn’t. Keep praying, and thanks.
