My son is back to work, and still doing chemo. He has even received his first paycheck. We are delaying the second surgical opinion because if the surgery to reverse the ostomy is possible, it would cause him to lose time from chemo and work. I am sure we will do it after a while because, of course, he would love to be rid of that. Last 3 CT scans haven’t shown any changes, and the cancer has not spread anywhere else in his body. Oncologist called it “stable” and under control for now. Thank you for your prayers.

Son started back to work. He said he was exhausted from it. I don’t know how this is going to work out. He says he’s been nauseated on and off and we skipped the last chemo treatment as he thought his body needed a break. He has lost about 19 lbs in about 6 weeks. We do go for chemo again this week. He was never nauseated before even when he was on the higher doses of chemo. I have to admit it does have me worried a bit.
